where is voltage regulator on ati 2600 video card?
I’m trying to install an arctic cooling S1 rev.2 vga cooler on my ATI 2600XT video card and was wondering where the voltage regulator is on my video card.
It is usually at the other end of the card, far away from the DVI ports. The VR circuit usually has the coil and solid capacitors. In photo below, the VR Mosfets are covered by heatsink towards the right. VR coil and capacitor are at upper right.
