Why is my tractor engine rev to the end?
some of you know my situation …. anyway, replacement filters replaced air and fuel and fuel lines, a lot of mud there. the engine seems to have improved somewhat but still no place on my face. see vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-orrS8ONwNM assumes that the engine revs higher, as it does when I move the throttle control lever with your finger? Why not stay all the way to the end? is a source small arm attached to it, is that for Governor? If Please help! I am so close to the tractor is perfect! im worried because the engine sounds like its under a heavy load to mowing the lawn and drive to slopes. my old 17hp Intek engine had far more power than the latter.
You guessed the right answer. The lever that shown in the video is part of Governor used to limit the RPM. When the engine is under load, it slows down and press the governor to apply more throttle to increase speed. The engine sounds good
