kubota bx2200 D how do i start it?
i bought it at an auction, didn’t get a manual, now i can’t start it. lights work, starter checked, has gas, besides turning key do i need to hold down clutch or break or what?
I have a Kubota lawn tractor and don’t know if it’s the exact same model but thought I would share with you how mine starts and maybe yours is the same. The emergency brake has to be on and the handles for steering have to be in the open position. Have the blades raised and off and the speed on slow (mine has a rabbit and a turtle logo, place it on the turtle.) Turn the key half way, it will tick, then count to five, then turn the key all the way. It should start and as soon as it starts release the emegency brake quickly and put the handle bars together. This has to be done quickly or it will die. Then just push the speed to rabbit, lower the blades and push the handle forward to turn them on.I wish I could draw you a diagram of the handles. I’m sure that would help. If this doesn’t work I’m sure if you call Kubota they can give you some assistance in starting it. Good luck.
