Do both owners of the property have to sign the lease agreement?

I signed a lease agreement with a tenant, that my spouse gave me a verbal ok to do initially. They have recently changed their mind. They say that the lease is not binding because they are part owner of the property and they would have to sign it also. Is that true? I’m in VA and don’t know if that makes a difference or not. Please help. Thanks

It’s enforceable against the tenants if the tenants signed.
