I would like to put a diode voltage line in a candle high wire bicycle.?
The spark plug wire will reach approximately 75,000 VAC @ 250 mA to be produced by Fairbanks Morse Magneto. I take the polarity reversal that occurs with a double shot magneto style harley davidson and into a single shot mode using a diode to isolate the spark pulses per polarity. Son of this type are available commercially, but I like to make some mine. I need to know the type and value of the diode needed and where I could buy. Thank you. In order to achieve the value 200kV / 1st i could beam (parrall or series) a series of diodes of less value? Specifically I think the HV diodes used in microwave ovens.
