what is a head heavy and head light racquet? How do i tell, will it say on the racquet?

is a head light/heavy racquet for power or finesse? i get mixed up…
would using a head heavy racquet compliment an oversize, and a head light a midplus?

Head heavy racquets are good for baseliners. Head light racquets have more touch, so they are used a lot by people who go to the net more.
Generally, a lot of oversize racquets will be head heavy, and many midplus racquets will be head light, but that is not at all a rule. Really, there are a wide variety of weights, balances, and head sizes, in all kinds of combinations.

You can easily test the balance of the racquet. Just hang it on one of your fingers by one of the corners in the throat. If the head drops, it’s head heavy. If the handle drops, it’s head light. It’s just a way to get an idea of the balance. It won’t tell you exactly what it is.
