Do I Mix oil with the gas for my chain saw?
A friend gave me an old Eager Beaver 14″ McCulloch chain saw, 2.0 CID
There are 2 caps… one say fuel..one says oil.
Is the fuel..straight fuel or do I add a 2 stroke oil? and is the oil cap for the Bar, to keep it lubed?
those are my questions.
Look at the cap for the gas. It should have a gas can and an oil bottle on it then it means mix 2 cycle oil to a gallon of gas, Check to see if it requires a 50:1 ratio. Look at the 2 cycle oil and it will tell you how much to a gallon of gas. If it’s an older model it may not have this and then go online for the model and see what it requires for a mixture. The other cap is for bar oil, You should make sure the sawdust isn’t blocking the outlet
