Why is my male bobwhite quail aggressive towards my female?
My male (vern) bobwhite quail is aggressive towards my female (Gertie). He chases her and hardly lets her in their dirt bowl. Is there anything to do to keep him from bullying her?
Your male Quail is coming into breeding mode,you would be better off by getting another female,always where possible have at least 2 females to 1 male (Quail)this would take the pressure off Gertie.

Norman Jeffrey Jeff Healey (March 25, 1966 March 2, 2008) was a blind Canadian jazz and bluesrock vocalist and guitarist who attained musical and personal popularity, particularly in the 1980s and 1990s. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Jeff Healey was raised in the citys west end. He was adopted as an infant; his adoptive father was a firefighter.
