I was charged $70 for a Saturn Battery Cable, plus labor and service fees for a total of $150.
My car wouldn’t start because the positive battery cable was corroded by my battery. Which the mechanic said is a problem with Saturns. They were very nice and fast but when I got home and searched for battery cable on the Internet I saw them ranging from $6 to $80 on parts websites and it was $60 for 100 feet of it at one website.
It’s a $20 part and takes ten minutes to change.
